The Gilnow Ams is less than one mile from Bolton town centre on the main arterial main road from the M61, it is surrounded by takeaways, shops and businesses and is around 500 yards from Bolton college. Either side of the main road are large residential areas made up of numerous terraced streets. The Gilnow Arms has a great following from the local community and is busy throughout the day from opening, it is supported mainly by older customers aged above 35 and has a great following for its bingo and games night. Busy throughout the day from opening with further customers coming in for a drink after work and then later into the evening for bingo and the games nights.
