The Prince George is situated next to Kirkdale Cemetery in Fazakerley Liverpool and we are thrilled to be investing both internally & externally in this great community pub. The pub is in a small row of shops and surrounded by an abundance of houses, it is around 200 metres from the main shopping area, which includes takeaways, cafes, retail units a betting shop along with further licenced premises creating a busy circuit.

Pub Layout

The Prince George had an extensive refurbishment in 2024 to include the trade area, toilets, bar and cellar. After undergoing refurbishment the pub has been revitalized, ensuring that it retains its charm while seamlessly incorporating modern design elements and carefully balancing the space so it feels vibrant and inviting, making it a great community pub. Walking through the front door to the right will see you in the lounge which will have a mix of fixed and loose seating and the main bar servery, to the rear of this is the new entrance to the beer terrace which is accessed through a covered area. To the left of the front door there is a newly created darts area with two darts boards and feature surrounds, with a mixture of hard and soft flooring and fixed and loosed seating the area can also become a dance floor for DJs or staging area for live music. There is a number of large TV’s throughout both rooms perfect for watching live sports.

The Prince George is a true community pub. It will continue to show live sport TV throughout the week to attract customers as it is known for this and for its sports teams. The Pub has designated darts areas with 2 illuminated board and a bespoke back drop and there is also a further practice board that can be erected especially for use during tournaments. Additionally, there is a vibrant and varied entertainment program for weekends, including live music, comedy nights, karaoke, and themed events to cater to diverse tastes within the community and by focusing on these aspects, the new operator can further solidify the Prince George pub’s reputation as a vibrant community hub and ensure its continued success in serving the local area.
