Pub Layout

The Mitre features an open-plan design with a games room at the rear. Upon entering through the front porch, guests are welcomed into a traditionally decorated lounge with a mix of loose and fixed seating, all serviced by a single bar on the left. Multiple large TVs are strategically placed throughout, ensuring that sports can be viewed from any seat. At the back of the lounge, a corridor leads to the toilets and extends to the games room, which includes a pool table, darts board, and another large screen TV. Beyond the games room, there is a door leading to the enclosed beer garden, capable of seating around 50 customers, this a great place to host community events during those summer months.

The Mitre is a true locals’ pub, serving the surrounding residential area with a steady stream of regular patrons. This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.

Derick Cooper the Business Development Manager is seeking an operator that is used to running or managing a community pub that is the face of the business and there to serve the locals that live around it, preferably a couple that will embed themselves into community life and further make the site the hub of the community. It needs a couple that are as happy taking football and Rugby to the regulars as they are arranging a garden party to make the most of the beer garden.
