The Man of Iron is a one room operation, which is serviced by the well stocked L shape bar with a vast product range to cater for all age of its customers. The pub is in good condition throughout and has both loose and fixed seating. It benefits from dual beer garden both enclosed, to the front there is space for around 10 benches and to the rear has both an open air and covered area which could easily house 20 benches and makes a great space to host community events in the warmer months. There is both a pool table and darts board along with the very popular gaming machines.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.

The new operator would benefit from repositioning the offer slightly to attract new clientele whilst still looking after the existing loyal customer base. A heavy emphasis on community events & a varied rhythm of the week is essential to continue to drive trade in this pub. Also, an ability to develop & deliver a strong marketing and entertainment plan, incorporating pub teams, is key to making The Man Of Iron a success. You will need to have experience in running a similar style pub with a proven track record. This pub is not suitable for first time operators.
