The Lord Raglan features an open-plan layout, creating a welcoming and spacious atmosphere. Upon entering through the front door, the bar is situated to the right, while the left side is the pool area with fixed seating and a TV. Moving further in, the space expands to include a mix of loose and fixed seating, additional TVs, and a dedicated darts area. At the rear, a corridor leads to the toilets and an exit to the outdoor space, which accommodates four benches and a covered smoking shelter.

The Lord Raglan enjoys a strong base of regular customers, with a steady flow starting from its 11am opening and a boost in the evening as locals drop in after work. With SKY Sports and TNT Sports, the pub is a weekend hotspot, drawing crowds for Bolton matches, Premier League action, and live horse racing. Derick Cooper the Business Development Manger is on the lookout for an experienced community and sports obsessed operator with experience running a similar venue, preferably someone from the area or who has run pubs in the area before. Applicants must have the right sales focused ideas to maximise sales on an evening and weekend whilst ensuring customers are served in a safe environment. You will need to plan and execute weekly entertainment such as quiz nights, bingo, karaoke and live music and ensure a return is made on your weekly entertainment allowance. The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the local marketplace as well as being community focused with a good knowledge of sports.
