The pub is a short walk to the main bus station, with the market square directly opposite, there is also huge complex being built due to open in 2025 with a bowling alley, cinema and family restaurants this will without a doubt bring a welcome boost to the city centre footfall. Preston is a city in Lancashire located in the northwest of the country with great transport links via the M6 motorway.

Pub Layout

The Lancaster Gate has been tastefully decorated throughout. On entry you are greeted with the prominent bar servery, which is well stocked with a vast product range catering to all tastes. To the left is a snug area with high poser tables and chairs, there are also TV screens which makes a great space to catch up with friends and watch the sport. To the right is the main bar area which is well balanced with both loose and fixed seating. The pub has a dedicated darts area for locals to enjoy, this area also benefits from both fixed and loose seating. The pub also has a pavement licence, so customers can enjoy a drink in the summer months while watching the world go by.

The Lancaster Gate serves as a welcoming hub for the community, where both long-standing and new customers enjoy traditional pub games alongside modern sports and entertainment. The pub offers a diverse range of sports coverage throughout the week on multiple screens, including both Sky Sports and TNT Sports. The new operator will be expected to create a vibrant sports culture while introducing engaging weekend entertainment, such as quiz nights, karaoke, and live music. This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
