The Cat inn is a great example of the community pubs we have in Proper Pubs. Situated in the community of Northwood in Stoke on Trent, the pub underwent investment in 2024 and is in great condition throughout. The Northwood Stadium, a prominent national sports facility that hosts a variety of athletic events and activities is located nearby. The stadium serves as a hub for local sports enthusiasts and contributes to the area’s vibrant community spirit. The pub is in a densely populated residential area with a ready made community surrounding it including a handful of local amenities nearby such as shops and a local school.

The pub is in good condition as is a welcoming and versatile space for its locals with the main bar servery efficiently servicing all areas of the pub. Throughout the pub there is  traditional well kept fixtures and fitting the pub has carpet throughout balanced with wooden floor and tiles. The pub caters to sports enthusiasts with strategically placed TVs throughout the venue providing excellent viewing for live sports, making match days even more enjoyable. There is both a pool table and a darts board which is used both by the locals and for the sports teams. Outside, the external space is enclosed, offering a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink during the summer for families. For the colder months, a sheltered area with wooden pod seating, ensuring year-round comfort these pods also benefit from TV screens great for viewing the sports action on along side an additional screen in the paved area. This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
